Dropping off trailer in NY
Steve already has the profile glued and cut
It looks pretty good behind a black car!
We arrive on assembly weekend... This is what the trailer looked like...
And the pile of panels (a kit if you will) ready to be assembled.
Aw, we gotta mount stabilizers first... Here's Frank cutting some angle.
The front stabilizers will get mounted on the tongue members.
The rear stabilizers will get mounted on the rear cross member.
Cleaning up for a weld...
Frank is doing the welding.
That'll give us something to mount the stabilizers to.
Self tapping screws do the job nicely.
The trailer is right side up now, and the floor is getting fitted to the trailer.
Cleaning up the grooves for the cross panels.
First wall is up...
Looking good from this side.
Cross panels are installed.
Looks to be a perfect fit.
The rear cross panels are 3/4" maple plywood
The front cross panels are solid maple faces with birch plywood doors.
Getting the second wall installed.
Both walls are installed. Getting a feel for the interior size.
The hole on the left is for the air conditioner.
Top view of the air conditioner bay.
Pretty nifty saw you got there Steve!
Frank is cutting the dropped floor to clear the tongue members.
While Steve works on the a/c bay some more.
We'll be sucking air up from this hole in the floor.
The end of day 1. Steve is checking out the dining facilities.
Plenty of leg room.
